Prayer for Fire
Raise my eyes.
Rip this wretched selfishness from them.
Raise my eyes to You
And strip them of deadly desire.
Rid my heart of this burning want.
Fill my chest with You, only You.
Light Your fire to remind me
This world is not my home.
This life is not my own.
I cling to both,
Desperate and pathetic,
In hopeless frenzy and Hellish pursuit.
Burn them down
With a fire only You can light
And from the ashes will rise true peace.

Did someone else write this and you just put it in with yours? This is completely different from anything you have done in my opinion. I like it very much
